The Hunting Party
The Turner family live a poor peasant life in one of Henry VIII’s forests. Alys, suspected of witchcraft, has 7 children with her husband John, the youngest of whom, Noah, dreams of going to sea. When Henry falls from his horse while hunting nearby, he is taken to the Turner cottage by his hunting party. The events that follow change the lives of several family members, while ensuring Alys’s safety from future accusation.
